राष्ट्रिय आदिवासी महिला महासंघ (NIWF) ले आफ्नो २५ वर्षको रजत जयन्ती समारोह ४ माघ २०८२ मा द मल्ल होटल, ठमेल, काठमाडौंमा सम्पन्न भएको थियो ।
महिला महासंघको अध्यक्ष श्री ङिमी शेर्पाज्यूको अध्यक्षता, महिला बालबालिका तथा जेष्ठ नागरिक मन्त्रालयका, मन्त्री मानीय श्रद्धा श्रेष्ठज्यूको प्रमुख आतिथ्यतामा सम्पन्न भएको थियो ।
यस ऐतिहासिक समारोहले नेपालका आदिवासी महिलाहरूको अधिकार र सशक्तिकरणको लागि २५ वर्ष लामो सामूहिक संघर्ष, नेतृत्व र वकालतको प्रतीकको रुपमा काम गरेको छ । समारोहले महिला महासंघका संस्थापक, सल्लाहकार, विज्ञ, आदिवासी महिला नेताहरू, आदिवासी संस्थाका प्रतिनिधिहरू, सदस्य संस्थाहरु, सरकारी निकायहरू, साझेदार संस्थाहरु, नागरिक समाजका प्रतिनिधिहरु र शुभचिन्तकहरूलाई विगतका उपलब्धिहरू माथि समिक्षा गर्न र भविष्यका लागि प्रतिबद्धताहरूमा चिन्तन गर्न अवसरहरु प्रदान गरेको थियो ।
रजत जयन्तीले उत्सवको रूपमा मात्र नभई एकता, लैङ्गिक समानता, सामाजिक न्याय, आदिवासी महिलाको अधिकार, आत्मनिर्णय र समावेशी विकासको लागि आवाजहरूलाई थप सुदृढ बनाउन मंचको रुपमा स्थापित गरेको थियो ।
यस अवसरलाई अर्थपूर्ण र प्रेरणादायी बनाउन सहयोग पु¥याउनु हुने सम्पूर्ण प्रतिष्ठित व्यक्तिहरू, सदस्यहरू, साझेदारहरू, नगर, जिल्ला, प्रदेशका प्रतिनिधिहरु र समर्थकहरूलाई हार्दिक आभार व्यक्त गर्दछ । आगामी दिनहरुमा पनि हामी आदिवासी महिलाहरूको न्याय, अधिकार र नेतृत्वको लागि अझ सशक्त, एकताबद्ध र प्रतिबद्ध भएर अघि बढ्नेछौं ।

✊NATIONAL INDIGENOUS WOMEN’S FEDERATION (NIWF)-25th SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATION ✊
The National Indigenous Women Federation (NIWF) successfully celebrated its 25th Silver Jubilee on 18 January 2026 at The Malla Hotel, Thamel, Kathmandu.
The program was formally held under the chairperson of National Indigenous Women’s Federation (NIWF), Ms. Nimi Sherpa, with the honorable presence of Hon. Sharda Shrestha, Minister of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, as the Chief Guest.
This historic milestone marked 25 years of collective struggle, leadership, and advocacy for the indigenous rights, dignity, and empowerment of Indigenous Women of Nepal. The celebration brought together 50-member organizations, indigenous women leaders, representatives of indigenous organizations, government officials, partners, civil society, district coordination council, province coordination council, Nagar committee, media, and well-wishers to reflect on past achievements and commitments for the future.
The Silver Jubilee served not only as a celebration but also as a moment of solidarity, strengthening voices for gender equality, social justice, indigenous rights, self-determination and inclusive development.
NIWF extends heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, members, partners, and supporters whose presence and continued solidarity made this occasion meaningful and inspiring. Together, we move forward stronger, united, and committed to justice for indigenous women.
Heartfelt congratulations to the founders, advisers, experts, province coordination councils (PCC), district coordination councils (DCC), Nagar Committees, districts and staff of the National Indigenous Women Federation (NIWF) who were honored with the Letter of Honor.
