National Indigenous Women’s Federation (NIWF) is a national umbrella organization of 50 Indigenous Women’s Organizations across Nepal. Established in 1999 and legally registered in 2000 A.D. with the District Administration Office (DAO) and the Social Welfare Council (SWC), Nepal, NIWF is headquartered in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10, Buddhanagar, Kathmandu.
NIWF is a rights-based organization dedicated to the full realization and effective exercise of Indigenous women’s rights. Since its establishment, NIWF has been working to promote social, economic, political, cultural and environmental justice, placing indigenous women and girls at the center of its advocacy and programs.

NIWF has been working on the full realization and exercise of indigenous women's right with social, economic, political and environment justice at the center since 1999. It is a national organization which is registered in 2000 A.D. in District Administration Office (DAO) and Social Welfare Council (SWC), Nepal. The NIWF is the right-based organization that works for Indigenous women of Nepal with the vision of a just and inclusive Nepali society, where Indigenous women and girls are empowered to achieve ethnic origin-based identity and human dignity.
